How to ensure food safety for wood products?
Eurofins’ broad testing portfolio provides analyses in accordance with Regulation 1935/2004/EC. The Netherlands Commodities Act (Warenwet) on packaging and consumer articles Chapter IX as well as the French Note d´information no. 2012-93 have set up some requirements for wooden food contact materials. In addition, the Eurofins experts are aware of other typical parameters for a new wooden product for food contact.
