Your one-stop partner

for safe, compliant, and efficient packaging

Packaging is the first point of contact between your product and the user, and it plays a critical role in shaping that experience. It must be easy to open, facilitate safe and functional product removal, and meet stringent performance expectations. Eurofins Sterile Packaging recognises that packaging is an integral component of the medical device itself. It acts as a sterile barrier system and ensures the device remains ready for use throughout its shelf life.

Working closely with clients, we define specific requirements and develop packaging solutions that are optimal and tailored to the product. Our offering includes a wide range of sterile and outer packaging options, through to custom cardboard packaging. We also ensure full compliance with labelling regulations, incorporating all mandatory elements into the final design – using state-of-the-art, validated equipment and cleanroom facilities.

Packaging Design:

We offer fully integrated production, packaging and labelling processes. Custom and standard packaging solutions for powders, liquids, and melts, alongside cartoning, boxing, shrink-wrapping, and digital label printing are available all under one roof.

Blister Design

Our capabilities include standard and tailored blister packaging and pouches. Custom designs are based on 3D CAD modelling derived from your product data as well as functional and regulatory requirements, before we design the appropriate tools. Our process ensures optimal handling, security during transport, sterilisation compatibility, and fast turnaround times.

Design of Sales Packaging

We provide complete packaging solutions for ready-to-sell medical products. This includes folding boxes, dispenser cartons, and shipping containers. Together with our trusted partners, we can develop customs solutions together. Our focus is on delivering packaging that is visually consistent, easy to handle, secure during transport, and aligned with your branding and sales requirements.

Label Design

Our labelling department designs and prepares master labels in line with ISO 15223-1, fully customised to your product and process. We support compliance with UDI requirements, and provide expert guidance on optimal placement of global article identifiers such as GS1 and HIBC. Labels can include barcodes, data matrix codes, custom fonts, and your company’s logo.
