Your project delivery team

Eurofins Central Laboratory's project delivery group comprises three dedicated functional divisions: project management with a dedicated study set-up team, data management, and our customer center of excellence.

 

At Eurofins Central Laboratory, each study we support is led by a project manager who will manage all internal and external communications and maintain full access to all global data. The project manager is responsible for studies at each stage of the project: from start-up, through maintenance to the successful completion of the study. We strive to keep project managers sponsor-dedicated so that they can become versed in the preferences of a client.

To streamline the study start-up process, a set-up project manager is assigned to each study protocol as well. The project manager and set-up project manager comprise the core of the Eurofins Central Laboratory project delivery team, which is completed with the assignment of a data manager who is dedicated to the study, as well as all applicable department heads.

The global project set-up team is dedicated to implementing a streamlined study start-up that closely adheres to global standard operating procedures. The team is a true global team, so no matter which country, continent or combination of locations is being used to recruit the patients, all study set-up is coordinated in the same manner by the same dedicated staff.

Eurofins Central Laboratory has partnered with CROs and sponsors in developing supplemental reports, processes, implementation of new capabilities, evaluation of new industry processes for PBMC processing, and other relevant initiatives to streamline processes. Our organisation is making impressive strides in IT functionality and overall operational efficiency.

Actionable insights

Eurofins Central Laboratory offers digital solutions such as EZRF online laboratory requisition forms with sites and sponsors in mind to streamline access to data, sample tracking, and other critical information for successful study execution. We continuously enhance our digital services to create a more seamless user experience.

Beyond study specific dashboards which contain all relevant operational metrics and information for each operational study, Eurofins Central Laboratory has developed and released both required and supplemental metrics and reporting such as the Sample Inventory Report (SIR) and Sample Status Report (SSR).

Based on direct client feedback, Eurofins Central Laboratory continuously improves its client portal that provides direct and near real time access to critical study information. These metrics detail the overall performance in ongoing clinical trials.

Results that matter

At Eurofins Central Laboratory, each study we support is set-up in our global Laboratory Information Management System [LIMS] to enable fully automated analysis within the laboratory and throughout the entire process. Maintaining one global LIMS allows for enhanced standardisation, set-up and control. The set-up is based on the study-specific laboratory protocol and defines the planned visits and tests, reporting parameters, results calculations and study-specific flags. QC-procedures, including peer review and dummy test runs, are also applied.

Eurofins Central Laboratory has a wealth of experience in providing electronic data to clients. Data can be delivered in ASCII or SAS data files in various formats, e.g. CDISC laboratory data model, Eurofins Central Laboratory's standard data transfer format, or a format defined by the client. Custom programming is performed according to client requirements.
