As a member-driven industry association, Global Retailer and Manufacturing Alliance (GRMA) focuses on the harmonisation of GMP compliance standards for health and wellness products with its own certification programme.
Eurofins Assurance is a fully approved and accredited GRMA Certification Body to delivery these audits.
GRMA has developed its own certification programme by harmonising existing criteria of top retailers and regulatory bodies with the aim to simplify and reduce redundancy in audit processes for retailers, manufacturers and their suppliers.
GRMA programme covers three product categories:
Each of the category carries its own unique standard and requirements, with reference to relevant regulatory requirements, international standards and industry standards.
GRMA certificates are accepted by GRMA members. GRMA certifications may also be accepted by specifiers accepting GFSI benchmarked schemes and by those accepting GMP certification to any of of the NSF/ANSI standards mentioned above.
Similar to other audit programmes, GRMA certification starts by companies raising their audit application to us for scheduling. The on-site audit will take minimum two working days. When audit reports pass through technical review, customers will receive GRMA certificate in 40 working days.
The certificate is valid for three years, but annual re-audit is required for year 2 and year 3, in order for the certificate to remain valid.
Our certification activities are provided by independent companies and separate from consulting activities. Such services are also presented and sold to clients separately, not in bundle or packaged format. Impartiality is safeguarded by Eurofins Assurance’s relevant policies to avoid conflicts of interest.
